Card Week, Day 4

Finally, now something decent!  Cards starting today and for the remainder of the week are all new, done in July and August.  If you are a papercrafter too, I think you will enjoy! :-)

Gonna start out with potentially my 2 favorites.  I'm a summer person, and just can't get enough of  beach scenes or sizzling shades of pink and orange.

Top one was an inspiration from the last words section in a Papercrafts magazine.  The bottom's inside says "It's just not the same without u!"

Top has some cute butterflies and some quilling action, bottom is layers of black and off white papers with a giant gerbera daisy to top it off.  I think it's good to have some blank cards in your stash for those times when stock phrases don't really work.

Left one has a beautiful prima flower and lots of gold shimmer (which of course none of it really shows up, so please take my word that these cards are so pretty in person!)  The second is my first time using a Sizzix Texture Boutique to get an embossed background (I know I'm behind the times, but a tight budget tends to limit one's purchasing power!)  I made a flower using McGill Lily and Starburst punches, gray cardstock and Dusty Concord Distress Ink.  Sympathy type cards should be relatively simple and not so glitzy (which as you may be able to tell, can be hard for me to do!)

I'm proud of these cards and hope you enjoyed them.  I'd love to hear what you are really proud of lately!
