Thanksgiving Photo Dump

I know Thanksgiving was last week for any of those that may be thinking, 'why is she still posting Thanksgiving related cards...?'.  I just had to wait to post these because I actually gave these to some friends and family that may or not read my blog!  The first card is to my parents (they better be reading my blog! haha!), thanking them for coming down to Knoxville and visiting me and my husband.  They took us out, bought us groceries, and I am so thankful for them (actually getting a lump in my throat writing this).  I know the outside doesn't actually have "Thanks" or any other sentiment, but all my gratitude is on the inside.

I used some of my favorite heavy weight papers by AC Cardstock, and randomly stamped a Hero Arts Maple Leaf stamp (CG228) in Seedless Preserves Distress Ink.  I love this leaf stamp, and this is my favorite color out of the newer limited edition fall Distress Inks.  Some Cinnamon Stickles add a gentle touch of bling to finish.

The next card is for a friend from church and her parents.  We were alone on Thanksgiving (the actual Thursday) and didn't have anywhere to go.  We were invited to go to Chattanooga (about an hour and a half away) by some other church friends, but hubby was on-call so we couldn't go.  Then we got an invitation to join a family/friend gathering and we are so happy we took them up on their offer!  Our Thanksgiving was wonderful; new friends, lovely hosts, lots of fun games, and of course all the delectable delights anyone could want.

The sentiment started things off perfectly, we are so thankful for our friend and her family - not knowing us too well (her parents not at all) yet still inviting us to join in their celebration.  The leaves on the side (also stamped in the seasonal Distress Inks of Gathered Twigs, Seedless Preserves, and Ripe Persimmon) came from an Inkadinkado set (99403 Filigree Fall).  Some Stickles in Cinnamon, Paprika, and Glitz Stickles in Grape to finish - oh, and a bit of twine too!

Hope you like these cards, and hope you know that I am thankful for YOU, my fabulous readers too!!
