The fun continues with Tim Holtz' 12 Days of Christmas Tags, if you haven't been playing along I'd really recommend it - it's lots of fun and the anticipation is palpatable every night while @MarioJRossi is tweeting #12Tags and BTS (Behind the Scenes). Tim Holtz posts every night at midnight MST, and I am EST (2 hours ahead, so 2 am my time when he posts). It's a bit late for me, and I love leaving BTS with the surprise of what Tim has created left for me every morning - it really is like 12 days of Christmas! On to today's tag!

This tag was one of the easiest to create so far, but at the same time I couldn't seem to pull off Tim's technique. Check out his card for what I'm talking about; he used Reflection stamps (stamps that are printed backwards) and then blotted/wiped them off - my ink didn't come off! So I left it as is. Because the black ink stayed (and I have no white ribbon - really??), I kept this on the darker side with black organza ribbon, but added the pearls. I like how it looks, I'm just disappointed that I don't have any Reflection stamps, and the fact that the blot/wipe technique did not work for me.
Have you tried today's tag? Did the Reflection stamps and/or technique work for you?
