Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists Cards

I was really inspired from yesterday’s card using Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists that I felt like breaking out the stash that I hadn’t used in a while.  No real reason for not using them, just hadn’t in some time.  I also hadn’t really used my Liquid Pearls in a bit and I really love their effect, so I combined the two for a couple cards today.

Starting with a new paper from my Echo Park book, I stamped this sentiment from a Stampers Anonymous set using Hero Arts Soft Pool Shadow Ink.  I cut a small bit of watercolor paper (which holds up fabulously to Glimmer Mists) and sprayed in Lily Pad and Electric Blue – pretty much my new favorite combo.  Some more Prima Flowers and those Liquid Pearls again in Mint Green, Peacock, and Ocean Blue.

I started with a new Authentique paper from my 6x6 pad and inked it lightly with Vintage Photo Distress Ink.  Another small cut of watercolor paper, sprayed with Electric Blue and Peach Delight Glimmer Mists.  A sentiment from Stampers Anonymous with Bisque Liquid Pearls and Walnut Stain Distress Stickles to finish.

I was playing around with some Grungeboard on this one, inking with Scarlet, Viva Pink, and Sapphire Glimmer Mists.  The Grungeboard already has raised swirls on it, I just (painstakingly!) embellished with Glitz Stickles in Grape and Ruby Slippers.  The effect in person is phenomenal!  A Hero Arts sentiment inked in Hero Arts Soft Purple to finish.

I had so much fun making these…I won’t soon forget my Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists.  Tattered Angels also makes Chalkboard mists.  I think I might also look into some spray inks such as Mister Hueys or perhaps some Adirondacks or even some of the new Dylusions sprays.  Do any of you have either of these, or maybe another spray ink I should know about?
