Happy Mother’s Day–Day 2

Hope everyone had a beautiful Mother’s Day!  Today I wanted to share some cards I made for my own mom.  Similar to yesterday, I wanted to make her a set of some useful cards.  I got some photorealistic stamps by Inkadinkado on the 75% off page of Two Peas In A Bucket, so I wanted to use these.  I tried using the Jenni Bowlin inks but they made terrible impressions for some reason.  Then I tried my ever faithful Distress Inks and they did the trick.  I only had three of those, so to complete the floral set I used my favorite dogwood flower stamp that my parents got me for Christmas, and also a new Hero Arts one that I bought from my trip up north.

Here’s that fave dogwood flower stamped on watercolor paper and colored with Distress Inks.  It’s popped up on top of the Hero Arts woodgrain.  I love that fun paper with 6 different colors of liquid pearls to match.

Do you guys make sets like this too?  What did you get for your mom on Mother’s Day??

Hope everyone has a great week! Smile
