A Blog Named Hero has a current challenge going on:
Sponsored by your favorite online stamping product company with the best logo ever (I may be partial as it has a naughty Boston Terrier in it, but nevermind that):
All Hero Arts stamps of course, and I just got the Tim Holtz Summer Distress Ink colors and wanted to play!
Both cards feature my favorite HA/Studio Calico Lattice Background, as well as set CL129.
I kept the color palette clean, using only the Picked Raspberry and Mowed Lawn. Kind of a Lilly Pullitzer look, no? That flower is HA CG194. A bit of Liquid Pearls scattered about to finish.
For this card I took the same lattic background and used it as water with the Salty Ocean Distress Ink. The frame around the sentiment and the fish are both from HA CL451 (which I still haven’t seen in any other challenge). The yellow fish in the middle is popped on foam – he’s designed to stick out against the crowd! More Liquid Pearls for the fishes’ air bubbles to finish.
Thanks for popping by, I appreciate the visit! Stick around, stay awhile – if you like these cards you might like these cards made with the same stamp sets: Live in Sunshine and Seahorse Card.
Which of these is your favorite? I can’t decide!
