Shine On…A Window Card

Welcome to the weekend, friends!  A card to share I made a couple days ago for the Moxie Fab Make a Card with a Window Challenge.  You should play along too, you’ve got til Monday!

Pearl Gateway 016

What an absolute BEAST to photograph!  I did my best but my skills are quite lacking.  I know a circle window isn’t particularly creative, but stringing the twine across with cute little individually made banner flags makes up for it!  I started with some yellow twine, knotting and gluing with Glossy Accents across the window.  I cut the banners individually out of papers from the oh-so-Moxie-Fab Christy Tomlinson She Art 6x6 pack.  All three sentiments are from a Technique Tuesday/Ali Edwards set.  A totally new look when stamped in Green Hills Shadow Ink by Hero Arts, instead of the beachy colors I typically reach for when using that summery set.

Since I couldn’t figure out how to remove the shadow from the center, here’s a photo with the card closed:

I placed the banners so they wouldn’t interfere with the sentiment inside.  Tedious, but worth it!

Thanks for visiting me today, I hope your weekend is full of sun – shine on!
