Lots of inspo from around the interwebs today. A sketch, a theme, and a muse! Sketch thanks to CAS(E) this Sketch #36, theme of polka dots thanks to CAS-ual Fridays #109, and muse thanks to CASE study #149:
Here’s my take:
I haven’t done a thin tall card in a long time, so I started with that. I actually grabbed this fuchsia colored cardstock before realizing it was the same color in the muse, maybe a subconscious choice? The main panel of dots was created using a Studio Calico mask sprayed with Ranger Perfect Pearls mist in Heirloom Gold. I recently received my latest Simon Says Stamp order that had Kelly Purkey’s ‘happiness is’ set, so I used the solid word bubble first, inked in Hero Arts Shadow Ink in Passion Flower. The glitter paper behind it is my absolute fave, it has the best shine and doesn’t flake – yay!
The sentiment and diamonds are from a Neat and Tangled set I recently won from Mojo Monday’s anniversary challenge. So of course I had to ink ‘em quickly! The diamonds are dusted in Perfect Pearls, also in Heirloom Gold. Check out this set, isn’t it a must have?
And as I’m writing this – it’s POURING again, it was pure sunshine 10 minutes ago – thank goodness I snapped these quick! Thanks for joining me, enjoy your Sunday amigos!
