This card came together rather quickly, as I had these leaves on hand from last year – stamped in the seasonal Distress Inks of Gathered Twigs, Ripe Persimmon, and Seedless Preserves (not to mention painstakingly fussycut!). I stamped the same image on the kraft cardstock with Versamark ink, and it gave me exactly the nice subtle background I was looking for. The white square behind the leaves helps keep things CAS and giving a great focal point. The sentiment is a secondary focal point, in a somewhat unusual location, but I like it. Before adhering everything I couldn’t help myself and did give it a spritz of Perfect Pearls Mist in Cappuccino, which is so very subtle it doesn’t really show here at all.
Thanks for stopping by today – have a blessed day!
